A superb Sunday on April 28th witnessed a 158 runs win against Undercliffe who were all out for 59 in reply to Cleck's 217-8 with Elliott Hallas scoring 99 runs whilst there were five wickets for debutant Jimmy Ives and three for Joe Wood.

On Saturday May 4th there was a splendid win against a good Ossett team. Cleck' dismissed the visitors for 117 and in reply made 120-6 but not without a few hiccups although Alex Midgleyand Steve Noble batted with great maturity to see their side home sharing a partnership of 40 runs. One week later there was a lot of disappointment with the game at East Ardsley eventually abandoned with Cleck' gaining six batting bonus points after notchin g 192 runs before the heavens opened.

On Saturday May 25th the team were soundly beaten at Bradford & Bingley just one week after defeating Carlton by two wickets.

June 1st saw a high scoring game at Methley who scored 262 with Cleck' dismissed for 217. But 24 hours later and despite five regulars missing the side took Pudsey St Lawrence all the way in a Priestley Shield one wicket defeat. It was cruel on Cleck' who had their opponents on the rack at 197-9 but they ended on 233-9 overcoming the hosts total of 228 that owed a great deal to the father and son partnership of Richard and Russ Noble whose 74 and 28 runs respectively were superb.

Following a blank Saturday there was another rain affected contest on June 15th at home to Bankfoot who were bowled out for 102 with four wickets for Joe Wood and three for Alex Midgley but heavy rain prevented any further play.

On Saturday June 22nd a very young and inexperienced Cleck' side did well despite defeat at Keighley. With six regulars missing the visitors were dismissed for 117 albeit the home team were seven down when they hit the winning runs but great credit must go to Cleck's young guns. A week later and with a very weakened team the side lost by nine wickets to Gomersal as Cleck' were 85 all out and the away team made 87-1. Alex Midgley did his best batting for 24 overs but with more than half a side of regulars not playing it was a thankless task.

Saturday July 6th saw the Seconds secure an excellent win at home to high-flying Northowram Fields as the visitors were dismissed for 181 in reply to Cleck's 234-5 with Richard Noble scoring 80 runs and 61 runs for Alex Midgley.

One week later nine men defeated Ossett with Cleck' scoring 109 runs but managing to bowl out their opponents who needed just five runs to win. A real show of determination from those that played.

July 20th witnessed Elliott Hallas the star turn against East Ardsley as he scored a brilliant 122 in an innngs of 261-9 overall. The opponents were dismissed for 206 and Elliott captured 4-29 also. August 3rd was rain hit as the Seconds drew with top of the table Bradford & Bingley. Elliott Hallas struck a rapid 78 runs from 80 balls.

On Saturday August 17th there was a disappointing four wickets defeat against Methley despite a solid partnership of 114 from youngsters Ethan Lee and Alex Midgley as a batting collapse saw Cleck' all out for 144 with the visitors knocking them off with wickets to spare.

One week later Richard Noble's 53 not out led his side to a four wickets win at home to Farsley when at one time Cleck' were 64-6 chasing 108 but Richard's innings proved to be the match winner. On the last Saturday of the month there was a 67 runs defeat at Bankfoot who made 191-5 with Cleck' dismissed for a poor total of 124.

A disappointing defeat at home to Keighley with just nine men available for Cleck' left the feeling that for 2020 there has to be changes made!
