On Saturday April 22nd Cleck's Seconds suffered a six wickets defeat at Undercliffe as the hosts overcame the visitors total of 179-8 with six wickets to spare. Shahid Rehman was top scorer for Cleck' notching 44 runs.

The following week Chris Dobson's side defeated Carlton by ten wickets who were dismissed for 70. On Saturday May 6th Cleck’s Seconds had an excellent 17 runs win at Ossett that owed a great deal to 14-year-old Ethan Lee, who made 30 not out along with 13-year-old Alex Midgley who was 14 not out and their stand made all of the difference in terms of the result. Chris Dobson made 59 runs with Shahid Rehman scoring 57 runs whilst a useful knock of 37 runs from Craig Blackburn assisted the cause in a total of 222-9 with the home side bowled out for 205 with five wickets for Attar Rehman and four for Adu Dawood.

Cleck’s Seconds were impressive winners against Methley on May 13th scoring 270-8 and dismissing the visitors for 171. Chris Dobson top scored with 83 runs with excellent support from the bullish Elliot Hallas who plundered an impressive 71 runs whilst Shahid Rehman made 60 not out. Attar Rehman captured four wickets whilst young prospect Ethan Lee took 4-33. On Saturday May 27th there was a six wickets home loss to East Ardsley after Cleck' were dismissed for 145. Saturday June 3rd witnessed a convincing win at Keighley as the home side were all out for 84 in reply to Cleck's 226 with 71 runs for Joe Robinson who also captured five wickets as did Sam Bailey.

Cleck’s Seconds defeated Idle by five wickets on Sat' June 10th after dismissing the away side for 123 with three wickets apiece for Attar Rehman and Sam Bailey. Elliot Hallas top scored with 39 runs in the home team’s 127-5. Cleck’s Seconds kept up their fine form on the 17th with a seven wickets win at Bradford & Bingley. The hosts were 176-9 after their 50 overs and Attar Rehman was the star capturing 5-27. Chris Dobson’s knock of 76 paved the way for the win as Cleck’ finished on 177-3.

On Saturday June 24th Joe Robinson struck 86 runs for the Seconds against Wrenthorpe in a total of 282 and an excellent 20 points win after dismissing the visitors for 174. Cleck's Seconds' side are firing on all cylinders just now and looking every inch a top-three team. Sadly, July 1st witnessed a home loss to Undercliffe by five wickets. Cleck's Seconds had a splendid seven wickets win at Carlton on July 8th after bowling out the hosts for 102 and in reply made 104-3.

On Saturday July 15th the Seconds lost at home to Ossett by seven wickets as the visitors struck 158-3 to overcome the hosts 157 all out, despite 54 runs from Chris Dobson and a knock of 29 runs from the bat of Joe RobinsonDespite being without Skipper Chris Dobson and the influential Craig Blackburn, Cleck’s Seconds defeated a determined East Ardsley side by six wickets to progress to the Quarter Finals of the Priestley Shield on Sunday July 16th. The Second round contest at Moorend was played in bright sunshine and in front of a healthy crowd with the visitors being dismissed for 181 and Cleck’s Sam Bailey claiming three wickets. In response, the Noble brothers, Richard and Steve shared a useful opening partnership with knocks of 53 and 26 respectively. There was an excellent stand between Joe Robinson and Elliot Hallas that took Cleck’ to 185-4 and the win with Elliot finishing on 44 not out and Joe 29 not out with 9.8 overs left.

Methley's 188-9 on Saturday July 22nd was enough to give them the win as Cleck' were all out for 152.

Cleck’s Seconds had a superb win against high-flying Gomersal winning by 71 runs one week later and Shahid Rehman scored 72 runs whilst Steven Noble notched 53 runs in a total of 176-6 with the visitors dismissed for 105 with Joe Robinson the chief wicket taker taking a fabulous 5-17 from his 12 overs bowled. On August 5th Cleck's Seconds defeated East Ardsley by six wickets after bowling the hosts out for 139 and in reply were 145-4.

One week later due to holidays, and a first team call up the Seconds played Wakefield St Michael’s with just eight men and sincere apologies and great credit to those lads who made a fist of things – Cleck’ were dismissed for 41 and the hosts ended on 42-3.

On Sat' Aug' 19th Cleck’s Seconds annihilated Keighley by 128 runs. Steven Noble carried his bat for 78 and Shahid Rehman made 56 runs with a total of 182-4 and in reply the visitors ended on 54-9. A week later Cleck’s Seconds defeated Idle by six wickets making 109-4 after bowling the hosts all out for 106 andShahid Rehman taking 4-8. Cleck's Seconds made short work of their home game against Bradford & Bingley winning easily with an eight wickets victory. The away side were skittled out for 64 with Elliot Hallas taking an incredible 7-8 with Richard Noble scoring 39 runs.

On Saturday September 16th Cleck’s Seconds ended their season on a high with a five wickets win against Wakefield St Michael’s as Shahid Rehman took 5-45 with the visitors dismissed for 145 and in reply Chris Dobson’s guys were 149-5, once more, Shahid starring with 41 runs. Interestingly, prior to their game against Bradford City at Valley Parade around 200 Rotherham United fans descended upon Moorend to enjoy a pre-match drink and a bit of banter towards the players without a hint of any misbehaviour.
